We got eyeballed a few times. No interaction in 150km.

Morgan & Wacker loaned me a Heritage Softail.
It was a good day. We did a loop north west of Brisbane with some nice folks. Some are just starting out on the adventure, some returning to it, and some hard cases.
I've got the Heritage for the rest of weekend too. Yee har.

How many will get it? should someone post the link to Tina sweating like a racehorse, and the Ikettes in fear of their lives? Also, thank you, it is now rolling round in my otherwise empty head. could be a worse lyric I guess.

Yeah, Granted your a fuckstick, But I'm simply not that racist.

Plenty of the hard working kiwis I referred to in the Aussie workforce are our brown shaded brothers, and the grievance industry is about greed not race. Plenty of flies bathing in that shit that aren't "murrays".

'Big' protest rides on the weekend. Couple of thousand in Brisbane. Others interstate. An Ausie-oi or an Oi-oi-oi oi?
Anyway - all it did is confirm what a prick Premier Campbell Newman is. Nothing much else.
His comment - instead of perhaps reassuring recreational motorcyclists or saying 'bear with us' or any similar message - was no, "Waste of time'. He may as well have finished with 'idiots'.
'We make no apology' which is Queenslander for - 'we don't give a fuck'.

(FWIW I mowed the laws - the protest reaction was a perfectly predictable outcome really.)

    * Edit - I meant to type lawns - but laws is funnier.

    And the PM weighed in...

Prime Minister Tony Abbott, who was in Brisbane on Sunday morning, said...

“We’re not talking here about motorcycling enthusiasts. We’re talking about hardened criminals engaging in – to put it bluntly – a giant criminal conspiracy against the public,” Mr Abbott said.

Good to hear Tony. Was he finally acknowledging Aussie pols stealing from the public in expenses rorts? Or maybe the Obeid dynasty's intergenerational 'business' activities? Oh no, he wasn't!
