Top job. Personally I think it looks pretty good. The performance sounds impressive too.

But having said that theres been a lot a thought go into it, what have you done to the motor... surley that top end speed is all in the gearing, which isent going to help with track performance apart from hauling arse down the straights.
Speaking of which altho it has its own look.... it dosent look to be set up the best for racing, is that your plans for the bike?

Cos if it is then stay tuned for a national Blenhiem bucket meet later in the year (Labour w/e)
    cheers DD

The gearing is still standard gl145 road gear. Motor?... well...
As for riding posistion.... There is a suprisingly large amount of weight on the front wheel (look how far foward rider sits) and the frame is still largly suzuki 400 impulse, more stiff than all the commuter frames, tripple disks = stop fast.

The power all comes on down low and mid revs, but saying that... it dosnt fuck around at high revs either.

Hope this has explained a bit.....

    Hell Yeah! I love it!

I think the man might be right about the bars being too high tho, I'd try clipping them on under the top triple.

    Cheers

    Good stuff mate, well done
To every man upon this earth
    Death cometh sooner or late
And how can a man die better
    Than facing fearful odds
For the ashes of his fathers
And the temples of his Gods

Looks mean and ugly (used as a compliment of course!) makes me want to start collecting bits. How much trouble would it be to get something like that (I wouldn't paint it I'd splash mud on it) road legal assuming I bolted together bits without modifying them? Sounds like I could have something learner legal (under 250cc) thats more fun than the GN. I touch the pegs down every day and ride with my wrist right 'round. BORING.
I'm selling my new riding gear!! Only worn a few times get a deal Kiwibikers!!
