I was behind an Audi heading up Onewa Rd last night. Mr Audi must have had cataracts because he had the rear fogs blazing away. So, being the considerate chap I am, gave him a taste of high beam.
As luck would have it, the lights ahead were red. So I pulled alongside and asked him if my lights were blinding, he said they were. I said "so are your bloody foglights".
This guy didn't even know his rear lights were on, he thought it was just the cool looking front ones. At least he was apologetic about it.

Gaaaaahhh!!

One of my pet peeves.

Why do people drive around with these on?!? Is it just to say, "Look at me! I have these extra fog/driving light things! I'm a knob-end!"

Well hey!
I have three (3!) cars with fog lights. But they stay off, unless there's fog or poor visibility. So I'm not cool? I already knew that - my kids told me. Why, I don't know.
Ride a bike - check.
Listen to kewl music - check.
Play guitar - check.
Urpeen cars in the gargre - check.
Make a mean coffee - check.
So what else is there?
I guess it must be the hair thing, or the being over 21 thing, or just that I'm older than them.
But because I am kewl (on the inside, at least), I don't give a crap.

Since that 'Ugly Fish' riding glasses thread, I purchased two pairs. One being the yellow tint for night riding. They do a great job of cutting down glare, especially after it has been raining when the headlights really reflect off the road.
