Well brought my Blackbird new in 2005 and still commute every from Albany to the city in Auckland every day and i love it. Have been round the South Island with the wife on the back not an issue. And when I want to have fun I can, so to me the perfect all round bike and yes I have ridden the Busa and ZX12 both great bikes.

It all comes down to your own personal opinion, as simple as that.

    cheers

That's the same as the one I had. Mine also had Yoshi can but at the normal height.
Its a nice bike but the price is getting to close to a newer hyperbike.
Looks more like a 7.5k bike to me. At 7 to 7.5 you would say you had good bike for your dollars.

If these bikes are around 10k (approx) then the 12r at 9k is to dear.

My busa will be back on the road in 2 or 3 weeks. Come have a ride of that if you want.
ZX12's aren't bradaz bro, buy one and your next welding job will cost double. I might also start mistaking you for madness

Its the front that I don't like on the 14s. Nothing personal. The 12 just looks better to me. But yes to expensive.

Not a lot of information. Its just as likely to end up in the z1000.

Would need to be a 1400 engine to retain the zx14r zzr1400 label.

Question is how much power do they dare sell to the public.

Agree re 14. I hope they do not go down the 80's path as the Japanese did with the turbos - apply them to small engines that acted like under powered 500/650/750's and 900's when on tap. Novelty only as a 900/1000 had all the grunt and power simpler and cheaper.

So the addition of a supercharger needs to result in something very special.

They are talking about the engine on zx14r sites.
Possible the charger will be a 600 motor for road bikes with power and torque equal to the zx10r but lighter.
