Whats the low down on that MX2 tangle up? Was the guy pissed you killed his bike? Saftey first I recon, and hows that guy having a crack at Columb on the ground! You did well not to crack him one man. Jeeze. JC did well to step away from that and let you handle it.
I hope they all left it on the track.
Understand if its a "no comment" situation...

this is my view, not of the clubs or my employer,

the guy you see me pushing back in the photos and video's is Hamish Dobbins father, after he went after Scotty Colomb, I did not see the original incident from my position of starter behind the gates, but when i got there you see me look to see where Scotty's leg was then go for the kill switch so we could pull the bike back with Hamish trying to bat my hand away, his leg was very entangled in the bike, as we freed Scotty he tried to pull himself up off the ground off Hamish's and that's when his old man went for Scotty and I stopped him,

Dobbin was fined his prize money and given an official warning for the actions of his crew, (a rider is always responsible for his crew) some say that he should have been docked points as well, i can see the argument but think the club handled it well,

Yes someone in the KTM team tried to put in a complaint about me killing the engine, trying to claim I was not an official, but I was the starter all day and wearing a MNZ Hi Vis vest, as shown in the photos and videos, and anyway, all those guys know i have been involved with the Pukekohe Club for a long time, and I was trying to help a possibly very injured rider, and they also tried to claim the riders rep was biased because his son rides a yamaha.

anyone that wonders what we are talking about, photos and video here,

Anyone in their right mind would back you 100%. Total no brainer hitting the kill switch.
On reflection I bet Dobbyn's dad and that team will see it the same and regret their actions, I would even go so far as to say you deserve an apology, you reacted to what was in front of you. If the positions were reversed the actions would have been the same. Except maybe JC wouldn't have lost it... Haha

    10 points man.

agree 100%, would have done it for anyone in the position, I know the vast majority of the pits would back me,
