Thanks for that very interesting
Becoming fearless isn't the point. That's impossible. It's learning how to control your fear, and how to be free from it.
There's a much faster way into a motorcycle thief's mind......
With a screwdriver.
I didn't line up for a shot of experimental gene therapy juice.
History will record me as one of the smart ones.
Bike theft in the NE of England was epidemic by the mid to late 80's. Mainly joy riders. In the worst hit areas a vigilante mentality developed & the handful of scumbags doing most of the thieving had their front doors kicked down at 4am & their right arms dealt to from elbow to finger tips with a base ball bat or some such. The opportunists pulled their heads in but now it is way more organised. A group in a lorry will spend a few days scoping out bikes in an area, nick them all in one night & by day break be in a different country. Lithium Ion diamond cutters & portable plasma cutters are de rigeur. A couple of duvet covers quell most alarms. If they really want it a gun to the head your resting on your pillow & asking for the keys happens.
Keep it out of sight, maximum insurance & nail the bike to the floor.
Manopausal.
This is an interesting read too.
