    He got his bike modified and took all the controls on the left side, despite some of the ones around him believing that it was all just false hope. Alan chased his dream and he finished first in the very first race after the accident
    Man, good effort. What a GC.

    Watching him at the beach racing was scary as hell but inspiring especilaly when he waved to the crowd

    Thanks for posting that. There would seem to be a few guys racing in the UK with a limb missing these days. Iraq and Afghanistan have contributed to the number of youngish amputees in Britain. Two limbs though - extraordinary.
