Not really parents have put time, effort, money into all kinds of sport be it tennis, golf, soccer etc . When you can make millions at it there will always be some who see it as a way out for their kids and a chance they never had other then a lottery win.
The season has been a good one not one rider really dominating , but the riders who makes the least mistakes/bad days is sure to win RVP.

well RV layed a pretty good smack down on everyone tongiht, JS was sick, Dungey went down on the first lap,

44 points with 3 rounds to go, it will be hard to lose it from here, but they are saying its a 50% chance of rain in Seatle next week and that is an open air stadium,

Dammit I thought RV was going to have trouble after his crash and drop more points to James.

Big Stewart fan. Seriously the times he has missed a season or crashed out I've pretty much not bothered to watch those championships. He just brings so much excitement to the races.

Just watched the 250's. Anderson is riding so smooth. Why was Dean Wilson so upset at the end of the race?

I think he injured his shoulder in practice, so was riding in pain for the main.

Bit of a let down that race after the last couple, RV just in a league of his own last night.

I Just hoping now that no one else gets injured, and we get a healthy starting gate stacked with the top riders at Glen Helen for the outdoors.

agreed last night was pretty boring, i much prefer to see RV start last, pass everyone and win that way, but ill take a holeshot and pull away and win anyway

Wilson apprantly hurt his shoulder in the heat race crash, that is why he looked upset after the main, he put a hell of a charge in the last couple of laps, I think he made a mistake going to the inside of the split lain on the last lap, no on made that line work all night, he may have been able to get close enough for a block pass on the last corner had we tried to get closer,

Add says I think a championship can be won every year ill be racing for Kawasaki. Way it comes across make it sound like no one else can do it little smug for my liking. I know you have to have convinced an all but is a bit of a cocky comment.

can you remember how cocky RC and MC were in their time, RC in a king uniform made the whole crowd boo him,

Reed is another one who was cocky as fuck, but when he got older he got humbler and made more fans, Stewart is going though a similar transition now,

i bet it would be hard not to be cocky with 4 championships is a row,

not sure a scripted add is what i would judge anyone off anyway,

RV's interview style does not really help him IMO, although some of the stuff he does on pulpmx is way more human, but most of the time he does not look like he is loving it up there like someone like Roczen does,

but i dont care about being RV's # 1 fanboy on here, hes won this title alot different to the previous years, more consistant, and less raw speed showings,

Have to agree with Scott some don't interview well , some are like hyped up teenagers, some see it as a job, some are happy to be living the dream[as we all would],
You don't get to the top and stay there with out a huge slice of self confidence and belief that you own the top spot, Stefan Everts was a classic example the greatest modern day MX rider.

big call saying Everts is the best modern day MX rider, I would say RC is, 10 MX titles in 10 years, but Everts is the greatest Euro ever for sure, and his last ride against Stewart at Matterly basin was pretty amazing,

I would have been very cool to see Everts VS RC for a season in Europe, as I think Everts would have gone a lot better than any of the US people would assume, with the difference in tracks and surfaces being a huge difference, where in america they are all prepped very similar,

They award the championship to the guy (or girl if CD gets there) who is the fastest over the rounds, not the one who interviews the best.

I gather in in sx/mx confidence in yourself and your abilities may not be everything but it's pretty high on the list of must have's and I think a side effect of that is appearing cocky.

I also think that it seems like Stewart's riding has really matured this year, he seems to be pushing to the edge in the right places, and would really be in the points hunt without that handlebar/header pipe collision.

Like all the riders except the 800 who can't admit when he was going to take someone out and Barcia who has put in some douchey passes this year, generally a big fan of CR, ET, CW.
Smoke 'em if you have 'em
