    CTI wrist braces?

After my little mishap and unfortunate outcome of badly broken wrist I am looking into getting a wrist brace to protect the surgeons handy work.
It seems to me that the cti's are the only real option, Does anyone have any experience with them or know of a more affordable brace that comes close cause one doesnt seem to exist. Just checking before I part with my 600 dollars, cheers for any comments. QWA

you can get a cheap version like this or this but dunno how supportive they are. I was considering something too after my injury

cti are the ticket! just go to your specialist get them to write a letter to acc saying you need the brace to stop further injury and they are only to happy to pay...

Think I've fractured one of my carpal bones in my wist today on a trail ride.

Do people use wrist braces often?

Found this cheap one https://www.torpedo7.co.nz/products/...01-wrist-brace Anyone think it'd help in the future?

I tried a few wrist "wraps" after breaking my wrist, but the only cheap(er) one that gave any real support was this:
    http://www.motosport.com/NZ/dirtbike...-WRIST-SUPPORT

My breaks were actually at the tips of the arm bones - I talked to the Dr about a brace & he thought that in my case wearing one during the crash would have just meant the break happened further up my arm.

I wore the above more so I could get back into riding, rather than as a "preventative". Now my wrist is back to strength I don't usually wear it unless wrist is feeling sore.

i used one after breaking my wrist for a while, and sold a few in my time, they are not to bad, stops some movement, but are adjustable, they do seem to help you get back to full wrist strength,
