    Waiheke Island accommodation?

Three of us are planning a ride on our scooters to Waiheke Island at the end of Feb/early March. I have located one holiday park there. Are there any others?

We are all skint, so are looking at cabins or B &B rooms. Has anyone any horror stories or recommendations?

Is Half Moon bay the better place to leave from? I got the impression that the Sealink ferry is the only one to ship vehicles. Half Moon would suit us better, coming from the sth motorway.

I've stayed at "The Kiwiw House' 23 Kiwi road Oneroa, good people and clean and tidy, work was picking up the bill, but I'm sure it aint expensive.

John who started Kiwi House (don't know if they are still there) used to be in the Triumph Owners Club, so he was 2 wheel friendly.
