wheel / swing arm / shock... $100 to the sky's the limit...
rod ends ... $150 up..but yer don't have to go that way...

Did you mean avoid Valuebasket or Expert Infotech? I have frequently used www.einfo.co.nz for many things and had no problems at all. Plus they are a short ride away from me.

Would definitely buy from Revzilla again. Delivery to NZ from Philadelphia via NYC was 4 days then about 8 days sitting in tax jail in Aukld.

Curious... I investigated going the Arai route via Revzilla and they told me they couldn't\wouldn't freight Arai to NZ... that was probably 18 months or so ago though.

The only other concern I had purchasing Arai from the US is apparently they are sized differently than what we get here. You're obviously confident about the sizing, or have you purchased US Arai before?

I buy stuff from overseas quite often, including from Amazon & Ebay.
I use shipito.com rather than youpost because I get better options with them.
Shipito can consolidate several packages into one box and then send that box to me via USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL or TNT.
Shipito gives me both a California address and an Oregon address - shipping is cheaper from California but Oregon doesn't have sales tax.

Some of what I buy from overseas isn't available in NZ.
Some of it is just too expensive here.
I still buy plenty locally if it is available and if the price is reasonable - I don't mind paying more locally but I'm not going to pay 50% more or worse.

If you use the sizing chart on Revilla's site and measure your head correctly you cant really go wrong. I had an NZ XD3 (Large), fitted ok but a little tight getting it on and off. When I used the chart I found the XL was the ideal fit so got that....and it is, plus the XD4 has removable layers of foam for further tweaking.

I think the jobsworth at customs with that job only walks to the mailbox to post their ransom demands one day a week. I've paid over the phone once and online rest of times and it gets released to courier company same day. But when it comes into the country its gets assessed but the date on the letter they post out vs postmark shows they must print them out then only mail off once they have a stack of them. Worst I've had so far is about three working days hold up.
Forgot which shipping agent but one time their broker rang me up on behalf of customs to pay with credit card, was worried it was a scammer at first.

I think that's become a bit of an urban myth these days with the multicultural society we have these days.
I've bought brand new Shoei in NZ and Uk and both seem same to me. I think where the problem might be is where the imperial/metric maths corrupts the conversion into s,m,l,xl,xxl etc....
Revzillas glove size charts are sweet too.
