back in the early days for me if the long range mutt went to far we would just leave a swanni behind and head back the next day and the bugga be there waiting.
at least now ya can stay close and not have a 500m plus sprint when ya hear it bailing

I used to have a Jungle carbine version of the 303, Ideal for Pig Hunting. No longer have any rifles because I refused to sit the licence test after spending 18 years full time in the green machine. Still get to do plenty of Range Shooting though with the local Cadet Unit. Im a qualified Range conducting and Safety officer and run all the Firearms training and testing for the Cadets but still not allowed to own my own Firearm without being tested to see if I am a safe and competent user. Im not moaning, just something I laugh about.

I hear ya Wb... a thought for you to ponder, I was a driver in the green machine & when they found out I didn't have my ht etc. they stopped me driving on the road until I had past my test.... would that not be the same for you & the gun licence... in saying that I do think having to go through the same bullshit interview every 10 years is a croc of shit

nearly forgot merry Christmas & happy new year to ya all
