Getting a bike WOF on the North Shore in the weekend?

I just tried to get a Warrant of Fitness today (Sunday) for my 600cc bike, but no one on the Northshore had any staff that could do a bike WOF.

The AA Sunnybrae, my preferred WOF location because of great service, had no one available. This seems to be their usual situation in the weekend. Why don't they get some more staff qualified ?

VTNZ Sunnybrae (Arrrrrrr), had no one available. They normally do though or used to anyway. Cutbacks ???

To save further frustration, I pulled out my phone and rang what appeared to be my next closest testing station, VTNZ Kingsland, but they also had no one available, but kindly referred me to VTNZ New Lynn.

Unfortunately due to other commitments, I didn't have time to go over to New Lynn today.

Jeez, why should we have to go from the Northshore to New Lynn just to get a WOF.

Getting a WOF during the week just doesn't work for me.

BTW, I have just found out that Cycletreads do WOF's on a Saturday so that's where I'm going in the future !

Cycletreads is the only one on the Shore during weekends to my knowledge, pays to book as they do get busy. It's also a bonus to be able to browse the shop and get a coffee while you wait.

action bikes on barrys point do wofs, and are good at it.

both the AA and VTNZ in glenfield do bikes (don't go there they suck at bikes) and might have the staff issue if the guys arnt on.

Cycletreads do wofs (now called yamaha motorcycle central)

Pretty sure (but not 100%) that most of the bikes shops on barrys point do wofs.

There are heaps of places you can go.

Motorhaus on college hill is just a short trip over the bridge. Best mechanic in auckland too (AJ).

Im sure there are wof places at the bikeshops on the shore that arnt on barrys point (albany etc).

but like most wofs, don't go on a saturday - its crazy busy times.
Then I could get a Kb Tshirt, move to Timaru and become a full time crossdressing faggot

If you ever get stuck again. I normally go to Albany WOF Centre on Bush Road. Never that busy and the do bikes any time. Never had any issues with them.
