2010 zx6r for $10k?

Yip, fair comments. Everything is origional and was used as a commuter for the one year its been on the road. Super tidy with very slight mark or two. Im sure I will put heaps more on it. Tyres are origionals and are flat so will prob change them for a used race set. Pick it up tonight in the wind and rain

Yep, and enjoying it too. Cant look at TM for a few months now as the grass is always greener. Need to sort out how to carry a small amount of gear, I take it the the ventura sport rack is the way to go?

Tail bag and tank bag, eg Oxford are best on a sports bike imo as pack racks ruin the looks and handling.

If you use a Ventura rack and sit the pack on the pillion seat it shouldn't affect the handling too much. And IIRC that's what the instructions say. That assumes you are travelling solo of course. Also you don't have to buy a Ventura pack, other people make packs to fit. Some guys use the rack to mount a small pack for local rides, big eenough to hold a hat, camera and sunglasses or whatever. Handy.

If the quality of the Oxford stuff is OK these days, that would be a good solution. Givi probably do something too.

Thanks for the link, was just what I was after, and due to the exchange rate being so good I bought a us 20. Will see how it works out. Also bought some front and rear lift stands from torpedo7 on special for bugger all if any one else is in the market for some.

Onya OP, a fecking cool little machine to scream out.

Was reading up on some bits on Busas. Remember they were saying about the 180 tyre and running short linkage plates to lift the rear an inch which steepened the head angle to help turn in. I think that was for track day use.

Im planning my future Busa.

You run out of tyre pretty quickly is using a wee 180 on a ' Busa or ' 14. 190/55 gives the best of both worlds and there's a huge selection of decent tyres to choose from.

I think that it is a reasonable price for the bike. Not the score of the century, but certainly a sharp deal.

Oh and to add my 2c...I would rather ride the ZX6r than a Busa in NZ...and my frame at 6ft3 fits a Busa much better.
