Nail your colours to the mast that all may look upon them and know who you are.
It takes a big man to cry...and an even bigger man to laugh at that man.
If you look through the comments, you'll notice I said nothing at all about the guy at Ruapuna and his riding.
Sooooo, I should put the wee fella away now?
There was no distinction that I could see, hence my response.
Alright here's another one.

On the road i had that happen out very slow speed roundabout on cbr 900rr trying to do what did on vfr
I let it slide not snap the trottle shut but reduce it well just seems happen automatically with out thought.
its called feel for your bike and tires
Possibly too high. At the track last week on the RF shod with S20s, I started with 36 at the back and after it overheated in the first session and started sliding, I went up to 38. Was certainly an improvement.
The tyres are said to be of similar design in the quote, it was the last session so hadn't caused a crash earlier. I'd be inclined to put it down to rider enthusiasm more than tyre pressures with the limited information given.
What was the purpose of the article that the quote came from I wonder? From the snippet we can't tell of course, but it's a small leap to assume it's not adding all the information that riders need before they all go out and drop 10psi in their hoops before they hit the track.
Personal insults aside, while awesome that you do take time to help noobs and the less skilled, there are limits.
Not done a bike track day (only ride off-road), but have done plenty of track days in cars and you really get all sorts of people on those. Some, like my step-dad, who was also big into track days, can start off with no clue, then slowly over a few years become a pretty decent driver/rider. Some, however, are just not good at that sort of thing, their brains are just not wired right, or what ever it is that means they just won't ever build the skills and understand the techniques to be anything other than a bit of a liability on the track.
You can't preclude those people from track days, unless they are repeatedly driving or riding in a manner that is putting themselves, or others, at risk. Just being a bit shit isn't reason enough to stop them joining in, you just need to identify those people and take extra care when you're close to them on the track.
Both my step-dad and myself have been pushed into the barriers by other drivers that did things that were so stupid, we were shocked these people could even get a driving license. But at the same time, we were both driving in a manner that assumed they did know what they were doing, so we put ourselves in the position that allowed a dumb mistake by an inexperienced driver to send us home on the back of a truck. It's not a race, you won't win anything by getting past them, if you spot someone who is obviously struggling, hang back or swing into the pits and leave them to go figure out their arse from their elbow on their own.
