    Classic Bike show

    http://classicmotorcycleshow.co.nz/

I understand they are still open to entries so get that old bike polished and bring it along.

    Classic racing at Taupo

    Classic racing at Hampton Downs.

    Anyone here entered?

I'll have a couple of Bavarian Tractors at the show and one at HD.

Set up the stand at the show last evening, lots of nice machines, I got to push a Ducati racer for a bit, was told it was the actual bike the Mike Hailwood was going to ride in an earlier race to the TT, it was a round case NCR.
Spotted a couple of running shed finds, a pre war OHC Square four....never seen one.
Big stand with Commandos including a Hi Rider.
We have a BMW one with so far, 4 R90's including one with 115kms on it.
    Photos to follow.
    cheers, might see you there.

    In lieu of photos.....
    Well there was:
An 850 Norton Commando that had never been run taken from the crate in 1997.
    A Hesketh V1000
    A Munch Mammoth
An NCR Ducati 900 that I got to hold while it was being signed in ....looked it up and worth 200k.....eek. Actual bike that Mike Hailwood nearly rode.
A bike with a helicopter turbine in it.
A scooter dressed up as muppets.
    A C 50 Honda with a sidecar.
    A Suzuki Re5
Another of the only Paul Smart Ducati 750s.
    a V 4 Ducati thing.
    A Norton CS1....very cool.
    5 R90's
    Some Indians with 4 cylinders
    A henderson with 4 cylinders
    All the Triumphs
Most of the Nortons but no rotaries
    A 1902 Adler that runs.
    A 500 Suzuki racer
    and loads of others.
My favs are usually pre unit Triumphs.
