He's probably already there, sniffing at the door and whining like a banshee trying to get in. Won't see ol Pete for months once he gets in that shed???????

Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that, who cares? ...He's a mile away and you've got his shoes
Salt of the earth is Steve (i've literally eaten enough of his roost)and a genuine nice guy.
He's the flash git on the Maico...
Yeah, before the whole classic and nostalgia thing got going, old uncompetitive race bikes were just old and useless. I remember as a kid watching the Rickmans just clean up at any MX they were in, and I lusted for one when I grew up. Only a few years later I saw a Rickman right at the back and he got lapped. A couple of years later I bought that bike for $400. A couple of years after that I bought Ivan Miller's Cheney for $500. Just old useless bikes and no one knew what they were. Even when I sold them in about '79, there were only a couple of people interested, like, WTF is a Cheney ? Even now I bet it falls on deaf ears.

I never made any money out of them, they were still not worth much when I sold them - a crystal ball would've been a better investment.
