Everybody in history that has vended wares is an optimistic seller. I'm not giving Laava special license as a beloved KB scribe.

This thread is largely dedicated to those who try to peddle a pile of rubbish as if it was concours, not an oxidised mish mash of parts. Or those that think their lemon (think XZ400 or CB650 Custom) should have been made in the first place.

This thread is usually my first port of call in the morning. The sellers' offerings tend to be depressing but the reactions here are amusing, so here we are again.

Rusty, doesn't charge properly (sure, its the battery @!).

8k buy now don't risk 7k auction. Line up line up.

I think what I object to to the most is the poor returning biker who thinks yeah I'd like to own a bike again and ends up with this pos and what great bikes we're missed for thus sort of wedge. They would give up again after such a charade.

best buy on tardme currently is a VTR1000 SP1 with high ks but in what looks like excellent condition for $8750.

I would buy it but I could only use it at the two trackdays I do a year. Too uncomfortable for me on the road.

Possibly - but BMW's are starting to rival them.

yeah i bought one...didnt really like it on the test ride but for some reason still bought it. The CB500 that preceded it was miles better. I only had it a few mnths and traded it on an xs750e
