    Not sure re the seat but i blame these people for the brown grips?

    There was some old classic bike that had a brown suede seat but i can't remember what it was.

    No cow was hurt making that seat. It's cordoury. Carcano was very hot on light weight and fabric is lighter than leather.

    It's also a bit tatty looking in the flesh. Saw it at Puke and had a short talk with Mr Miller about putting electronic ignition on it as both of us reckoned 6V Italian coils were shit. I'm told he's since done just that and it runs on eight reliably now.
