A mate had the silhouette of the 3 unclad wimin in DMs on the wall (Blamx3) as well as some Gordon's stuff. Original stuff back then.

Had a search and what I found was not the same picture but close.

Had a GPz900. Many years since.

Tastefully customised. The back end looks like it has been dipped in the sea.

    Indeed it does.

Um, what exactly has been customised?
I mean apart from the drain pipe held on with a Rusty clamp?

I'd like to see the left hand side.

If it goes for that price it may be a bargain.

I wanted to start my question with "Prior to it's life as an aquarium ornament, did it go down the road on its left side......" but I thought that was a bit smart arse.

Probably could use a wipe over with a rag to bring it back to sparkly condition .
I had it's slightly smaller brother - the Z400C ... the only bike I've ever bought brand new. Nice wee bike and I paid $1999 for it back in about 1980? I'd only pay that much for it again today though ... certainly not close to $10k!

He's powder coated the rims and from quick inspection new spokes etc. Oddly I quite like them. Just not on that.
    Spoilt by hubs.

Why do people let their bikes rust like that and then think its some sort of badge of honour? Just bloody lazy.

the coolest pushbike wheels I ever built were red rims, stainless spokes and black hubs with whitewall tyres. Had the frame powdercoated and it was frickin cool. Sold it because I needed to thin the herd and never rode it.
