I seem to recall that mine only cost $1750 new in 1972.

Saw an item in a bike mag a while back that recommended these over the 750, partly because they didn't command the same high prices and because they were an all round nicer bike.

I like CB400s and I like Bol d'Ors, but I can't imagine anyone thinking that was worth 12.5k.

Holeshot still has one of the L5s for $13k.

A lot of yanks seem to swear by shit like that. Would be interested to know where they get their data. A 5 year old vehicle with X amount of K's would be a bit easier to pin a value around than a classic, which often involves more emotion than financial common-sense anyway.
