    All I said was saying that CX500's go alright for what they are is total crap. And it is. They're over weight gutless piles of fucking shit. Even a poxy old Z440 would kill one. RD250/350/400 anyone? T500 for that matter.

    Gee Four of those are 2 strokes plus 3 are sports bikes and the forth started as a sports bike (cobra)therefor not comperable. So how many HP were the Z440's again and what top speed . As I said they went all right for what they were and it seems went better than anything comparable Pete can come up with. Also none of those bikes are shaft drive.

    If you knew as much as you thought you did Pete then you would be dangerous. Although its mildly amusing that you think your own opinion and qualifications are so much higher.
    But two dealerships one Honda one Yamaha raced for over 5 years ridden more bikes than I care to imagine, from Villiers shitters to GSXR1000s.
    I'm currently building my own two stroke engine from scratch so fuck you with a big stick.

    I remember riding my CX home one night, with enough chemical enhancement in me to kill a horse.

    Was pissing with rain. I can't believe I got away with it, but I discovered that with enough lean on round roundabouts and cracking the throttle I could drift the thing.

    Fucked if I'd try that 'straight' though.

    I never achieved much don't care my only claim to fame was doing a street race at 16 and beating Denis chalet once but that was years ago.

    Nah. Bike salesmen that are full of shit don't last long. Ones that tell the truth, know what they're talking about, and can back it up with facts do well. I did very well thanks.
