Shameless cross post from the bimmer forums about a thing not even for bikes.

In syria they might be worth this much, armored 7 series might put their hilux's to shame...

I just do not understand how one acquires such a listing, and even more so thinks that they are going to find a buyer on trade me.

For the record Qkkid was in my bed, not the other way round

These wheel and tyre sets cost well over $6000 EACH to replace
That really makes $6k worth of Milo seem like a sensible investment.

So You Don't Know The Service History Huh?

    http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...-968495387.htm

Here's an update about this Daytona that I posted in this thread a couple of days ago.

As you can see from my title... The dude took me for a spin before I demanded to see the service history papers.

Don't get me wrong, it's been cosmetically well maintained and cared for, always garaged.

Bike is currently 44,000kms. Last time it had an oil and filter service was back in 2013 when bike was at 28,000kms.... So the filter (which should be all good with those kms) and the oil (which in my opinion is not good) has been in the Daytona for roughly ~16,000kms... and for two years coming in three years.

Valve clearance was done in 2012 at 20,000kms. Nothing since. I asked if tyres were 180/55 or 190/55 he firmly replied me they were Dunlops . I stopped after that.

If any one of you lovelies are interested in her, just so you know, he isn't going to do any service for it and it'll be your responsibility. He noted the bike was "loose" and not as powerful than she use to be. Go figure.

Sorry, the bike may be a rarity, but the faring has to go.

I like the Windjammer fairings because they are so stupidly ugly. Same way I like GS1200ss.

Mind you I like them on other peoples bikes, not mine.

Dont know anything about the Suzuki rotaries. Must google them sometime.

Nothing wrong with how the 1200SS looks once you fit an XR69 replica pipe.

When I first as them, I'd never heard of an XR69. I knew nothing about Suzuki race bikes prior to the Gixxer.

Wasn't till I read Croz' boom that it made any sense to me. Now I really really want one.
