Could be my old one. Non std gators and missing headlight shroud when asking twice top dollar.

Like his last comment. I think he'll be happy. Or a liar.

I hope this isnt my old one.
Fuck me people have this up to $600. Unlikely to go, frame unusable, crap parts, no paperwork. Just an idea. A bad one at that.

What would you use it for? CBX or GSX even GPz better bet for pre82. Too shitty for the road.

Got a 650 shaftie motor in the barn...The best pre 82 Junior...isn't. I'd like to measure some of them running now.
Talk to Neil about CBX's, lol, the world has run out of bits. Going by the SCF at Levels, 550 Yamahas are the biz.

My CBX550 was the paragon of reliability after rebuilt crank and oil pump. Did about 60,000 k on it. Fast for a 550. Brakes despite legend were easy to work on.

Course the 350 yvps was better in every way.

Several LC's running at levels - quickest one had a bog standard motor...Not far back on the lead group though.
But the best 550 Yam had the field covered by at least 3 sec/lap....lot of leeway to make up there.

    I'm Sorry Come Again?

Wait. So, you're saying the R3 is worse off than the Z300 around?

Quote: "I definitely prefer this than my brothers R3 around town and the twisties"

Wait again. So you're saying we're saving $1,000 when you want $6,800 for a second hand Z300 when a new one costs $7,390 (http://www.trademe.co.nz/motors/moto...02394712.htm)?
