Is a Hillman Avenger the same as a Hillman Hunter? My dad had a Hunter and it was surprisingly capable on a gravel road. My brother wrote it off THE DAY HE GOT HIS DRIVERS LICENCE by rolling it. Dad was, shall we say, unhappy. He loved that car.

Haha. A mate had a Revenger when I was a youngin. I was in the passenger seat when he rolled it off the road and landed it on a fence strainer post...right through the front right strut. It was rooted...best thing that could have happened to the POS

I dunno what kinda experience you guys had with Avengers, but the ones I had were bullet proof and good fun to drive. They wheelie if ya do a roll back...well, the right front comes off the ground anyway.

Up until not that long ago the Hilman Hunter was still being made in Syria (or somewhere close like Iran etc)
They came with Persian rugs.

And then your hand slipped off, you lost all momentum and you had to start again.

That was a dream Drew, probably induced by oxygen deprivation as Jimmy was holding a pillow over your head and intended on telling your parents you were delayed cot death.

In short Scavengers and Cunters were made in the same factory by the same depressed sad sack class oppressed poms with predicable results.
