Sure, it has some nice bits on it - that the bike doesnt really need. But a bike like this with Ohlins front and back, light wheels. yes please. And it is $20k.

Even IF it was 100% original, he'd be struggling...I do quite like them though for some odd reason.

Even then it'd have to be nut and bolt perfect I'd imagine. Later model switch gear etc is a no no

That bike is being sold on behalf as far as I know. so they probably can't negotiate. Lee of James lee designs is the owner,or was, maybe ring him, He's a hell of a nice guy. His paint shop is a stones throw away from MDU.
I've seen that bike in the flesh and it's stunning. Lee dressed it up because he could and it's what he liked.
I also know the history of the one at avon city, it was owned by a mate, one of the first in NZ and had the engine replaced as a factory recall even though the dealers at the time tried their hardest not to do it

there was an old motorcydcle generic workshop manual that said for service data go directly to the bsa A10, that's how close they were to them including imparial clearances

    Yawn.

I'm talking about the RSV4 Mark, not the Kawasaki W650.

Some kid is saying "Dad did you see the helmet from my Darth Vader costume" and Dad is all like "Nah but check out the sweet new fairing on my cherry XZ400".

I tried to buy that FT500 today for asking price ($2k) but was too late I have this thing for rectangular headlights and weird ergonomics and square clocks.

Doesn't look odd, they look lovely. Even the Brit magazine BIKE admitted they were better than a Bonnie.

Then again, you can buy a brand new 2016 version for $14,000 so why anybody would want to pay thousands more beats me.
