When a seller can't even be fucked putting his fairing back on properly, it really raises some flags for me:

What are you saying? Don't you jam your side covers up under the tank?

Ha ha. They look alright on that, but when riding they feel like they cramp you in

Mine was falling apart so I replaced it with 30mm clear PVC pipe. It actually looked better. Less like a bad Japanese anime - more like a twisted lab experiment.

Plus you could watch all the bugs get sucked in. Which added a laugh.

That r3 thread is the recommended retail in NZ dollars.
If it is then old 250s must be worth 1500-2k now surely.

Photographing a black bike in shadows doesn't show a buyer much. The bike is worth about $15-1700 in my opinion. It is 21 years old after all.

My pet hates are photos that are horizontal rather than up and down, bikes parked in a cluttered half dark garage and lots of photos showing the same side of the bike.

Some sellers dont really want to attract buyers when you see the lack of effort put into presenting their bike.

They probably trying to hide something. Good clean bikes well cared for by the owner... those owners will make an effort.
