PCV, under tray, hugger, dyno work and the other parts used were expensive and not required for a rebuild insurance.
Normally I don't judge chicken strips to mean a lot but they are huge ones.
Want to be rider spends huge money on go faster and blingo to find out he/she doesn't like riding a lot. Bike spends big times sitting.
Rego until December 2015 if that not typo hes added a year to it even though it was current.
Says hes been living a dream just not acting it out a lot.

Maybe hes got 10 bikes and doesn't ride this one a lot but if you had a few bikes you would know 16k isn't going to happen.

I can do that sort of mileage in an average month.

It's like going to an up market brothel, hiring the expensive best looking hooker and forgeting to have sex. Doh!

They're not motorcyclists in my book so good thing it's being sold. Hopefully to someone who will actually use it and appreciate having a bike.

Oh yeah, good luck getting half the asking price.

My betting is that the owner scared themselves shitless on it - and now is afraid to ride it

Here's another that I would put in the optimistic catagory. Not a bike but $135g seems a hellva lot.

I know what your saying but its so nice I still want it and I don't even like cars a lot.
I own a 1990 liteace van. Only reason I have it is it fits bikes in the back.
After the oil light being on for 8 years its finally blown the warning lamp. Its like owning a new van again.

there was a guy who had $80k on an utter minter 55 Bel Air which you could possibly have bought for say $70k leaving you $65k to buy something nice for the Mrs to pootle about in, and a decent Targa car..... $135k seems like a lot for that Cuda to me but I dont follow them. It is in good condition.

Replica Cuda, I have friends who are into the classic icons but none of them collect replicas. Very small market of collectors I would think want replicas.

    Times change.
In 1980 I payed NZ$5600 for a 1968 390GT 4 speed fastback Mustang, a mate got a very nice 1956 Bel Air for I think $1600 (Papakura) at the same time.
    Let the good times roll.

    I just remembered.
Two mates had Bathurst Monaro's in the mid 1980's both cost under $5000, how much now..... not to mention the Ford 427 I picked up for $1000 in 1984... yikes.

I was thinking $15k for her car plus $50k for a racecar (well $25k for a racecar then another $25k when I spear off into the undergrowth because I am a terrible driver....)
