Yep. Got to keep them guessing if you don't want to pay the fees.

Mind you, based on the advert, good chance he likes banjo music so I may be giving too much credit.

    Interesting sales tactics......

"Seller Comment: You can't buy it by watching. As mentioned I don't need to sell and will not be relisted and was considering withdrawing as I love this machine but don't want to waste anyone's time that has it on their watch list and the one member that has bid, so if you want it bid or hit the Buy Now. Cheers"

So he's doing us a favor for selling it?

Hes got a bid though now, I was actually wondering seeing as he was so attached to it, if he was actually going to bid on it himself.

Basically, yes. One came through here on what was it's running in trip a couple of years back. I was amazed to see it still had points.
For that money I would have expected logical - but hidden - upgrades....

Fucking weird eh! Sure, if you're a fan of his and you're buying one of his old race bikes with history or summat. But just because he's built the fucking thing...

And I wouldn't consider a MKII worth anything like that no matter if the fucking Pope built it, and personally signed the tank with his own man goo.

When I was casting about for a Gsxr1100g I turned one up that Schwantz had signed the tank of while he was out here. I asked the owner if it would polish out, as I felt it had wrecked it a bit. It's not like it was ever his bike. The owner was horrified.

Exactly. If I want some peanut to deface my fucking motorcycle, I'll leave it unattended in Naenae for ten minutes.

Yeah, this fad of autographed bikes can be weird. I understand the Paul Smart signature Ducatis - but don't understand a neighbour riding to Puke just to get the tank signed on his one....
It'll be interesting to see if any "signed" bikes make more money at auctions.
