compared to restoring a z900 where there are loads of aftermarket parts including complete sets of painted body work etc, switchblocks this wouldn't have been an easy resto, he is in business so ad an hourly rate to parts and he'll probably be lucky to break even. look at some of these 'custom' harleys and they're just a collection of parts bolted together and often twice the price. it's a lot of coin but that's probably what it cost too. NOS stuff ain't cheapo.

My wife want's a GN (yes I know) and I think I'd turn it into a cafe racer just to make it a fraction less gay, but this??? No way.

.....The insurance company got rid it off for me. It was written off. The damage on fairing, exhaust covers "miss placed"... it's because when I high sided all those bits broke off!

I know.... I really hope the bike doesn't get sold to a noob buyer. It landed quiet badly on top of the fuel tank so that should have been replaced. The guy that bought it got in touch with me for the red key and manual and said he just put paint filler on it and repainted it...
I told him to change it as it may be leaking.... Not sure if he has.

When I sell bikes I run a classified so as to weed out the poverty stricken tyre kickers with the likes of " swp 4 a Mitzi Mgna bro"

The SS will make someone a nice shed ornament for about 50K.
