Lava didn't challenge the price. Just the WTF value of this contraption and it's implementation in the pics.

    So, like a trailer?

Properly made these things are just fine. I mean dirt bikes are like 100kg. Half the wet weight of a 600. Don't go sticking your lardy road bike on it. With the right triangular straps this will work well and be less strain than a heavy trailer.

I can't weld worth trusting so id have to pay. Someone like Jason could make one easy. But this one is assembled. Just because you can doesn't mean you have to make everything yourself.

They work well on buckets and dirtbikes if secured properly.
Back in the early 90's an engineering firm here i was working for, made and sold them and various other add-on's.
ALL had to be certified before going on sale...
From memory, retail of the fairly similar bike carrier was just over $1000.
And at that the profit margin was very small - it only went into production because one of the partners wanted one for himself.

I use a similar thing to sit 4 mountain bikes on the tow ball - $200 from torpedo 7. Best bike rack ever... Like this but 4 bike version..

And much easier to store than a trailer which takes up a lot of space for most people's sections.

I don't doubt these are useful. In thw 90s I used to see them on the back of caravans, buses and campers all the time. Dunno about a clapped out narrow sedan though.

These are great little bikes for learners or commuters. . . at least it was but was left out to rust so someone painted the engine and most other bits an attractive brown to try hide the fact. And added a grogus headlight and who knows what other horrors befoul this hunk of junk.

So let's talk 20yr old Suzuki's There are a couple of first model GSXR750s at the moment listed. GGenuine appreciating classic. A game changer at the time and infinitely more exciting to ride than this old tarts handbag for the same coin

Still seeing lots of the same old listings for the same inflated prices. Guess they were. . . optimistic.

Hey mate, bit of a low blow with the threads. I'm just testing the waters I'm not trying to get 11500 for the bike il be happy with much lower. I was unaware this was a write off and since I've found out I have been thinking about my auction.. But I was unaware of this all happening.. I'm not trying to misrepresent the bike. It's a great bike, obviously when you put the bike together after you crashed it the bike was white.. I bought a new fairing kit off eBay hence the fact it is black now, and the front fairing did crack during shipping to NZ. Sorry I upset you that much just trying to sell a great bike that I bought, what do you want me to do from here?
