It's actually a highly advanced tech used since Edison invented long-life lightbulbs. Leather strap helps by eliminating static electricity build ups to maintain steady current flow from regulator/ rectifier which then eases stress on the fuse then eliminates drop of voltage over long period of time extending battery life to... ah shit can't do this anymore.

    The seller is an idiot.

And be careful what you say. I live in Shirley. Don't devalue it.

If you can make it on Kiwibiker you can make it anywhere.

I've had to use s dog collar as a battery strap before. Gutted I didn't realise I had increased the bike's value in doing so.

Other direction of the thread but it is hard t believe what GT's go for these days including basket cases.
I remember paying $3500 for my 73 in the 1990's and thinking at the time I payed $200 to much.

That's hardly the point. If you shed found that you'd be dribbling to get it secured off some Dorris who didn't know what it was for a grand. But to start at 9k you'd be forever dissappointed. Left standing would need a crank rebuild, everything needs restoration. A lot of money there (maybe 9k) but probably a 15k bike.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I often wonder about RZV500 motors and R6 running gear. Then I remember it has been done.

Whilst the price is too high...you also don't know what you're looking at.

DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
