The car I was allowed to drive as a young-un was a white 5 door fiord laser. There were lots of them. I don't ever see that becoming a classic.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
for sure i had the 3 dr sport, it took a hell of a beating, it was the rust that killed it in the end. But in saying that my first car was a toyota corolla 3dr wagon (ke30) with the good old ke30, when my dad was away I worked the hell out of the engine, put a cam in so it wouldnt idle under 2500 rpm. Got nicked 3 days after moving to welly. I never though those would ever be worth much....same with the rg400, if i only knew....
In a world where a Lada has become a classic, anything can be a classic
The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.
You'd never go hungry with Nigella Gaz.
If it weren't for flashbacks...I'd have no memory at all..

I like this line............
"Buyer has to satisfy himself before buying."
Isn't that illegal in public places?![]()
Morris Minor. My first car. Had a van, and the uber-desirable Morris Traveller (Woody). I would consider another because I could do the woodwork myself - its English Ash and it rots in our climate - plus its 40 y.o. Oak apparently or er, something. I thought about laminating up some marine ply - I reckon that would look good plus you could do it with hand tools in your garage.
I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave
Uber-desirable in my circles was a VW Kharman Ghia or a split window Beetle, we used to laugh at Morris Minors
My view of Briddish cars is probably tainted by driving lessions in a Morris/Austin 1300 and driving my Dads A60 ute. Mum's V8 Holden Premier was somewhat cooler to my 15-17 year old eyes....despite it being Orchid ( metalic purple)
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
