Unless Jeremy McGrath owned it, signed it and will deliver it personally and include a couple of lessons he is asking triple what it is worth.

Highly maintained. Is he implying that he blew it up 3 times and the shop fixed it?

By the look of it its the pre twin exhaust model too so old as fuck....

Not a huge issue in a 2 stroke MXer. It could easily be like grandad's axe... on it's fourth crank, third barrel, second gearbox and tenth piston and it would still perform well. Depends on HOW it was maintained.
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

Biggest problem I can see is that the damn bike is an hour or so out of Portland, Oregon. That's a long way to travel for a bike.

    It's a 2 stroke, a proper race bike.

Maybe I'm looking at this the wrong way, but I'd buy a new one for 2K more and modify to my own taste...

Euro 5 - reckon the heavy cat will be under or behind the engine and additional muffling in pairs.

Until electric engines improve - then it is all vvvvvvv vvvvvvvv vvvvv

Be interesting to see how they package it all.
It's not so much the engines but the batteries.

People often say that mods don't add value, but that's nonsense. All the money spent on that bike was thoughtful and absolutely adds value - if you've got two identical bikes and one has a tail tidy, pipe etc and the other doesn't, you're damn right I'm going to pay more for the one that has the mods.

On the other hand, the 30,000km surely devalues that bike more than the current owner recognises. So I agree that it's overpriced.

+1. Too many modern bikes look like the result of a preying mantis getting it on with a weedeater.
