yeah he gets all his bikes ex japan

But Laguna seca model F1s came with the same wheels & brakes as the 750 Paso only the Montjuich has the 2 piece Marvics fitted (1987 was the change point) and the indicators are wrong as well...they didn't have button indicators either.

Just a bit of adage too:
There are 5 models of the F1....the original F1, the Montjuich, the Laguna Seca, a short run version of the Laguna seca with pillion seat, & the ultra rare Santa Monica (which was red & white)
The Montjuich is the hot-rod of the bunch being the highest spec engine & alloy tank & the 2 piece marvics. Only the Santa Monica saw the return of the Marvics & brakes taken off the 851

So... it's actually a pretty ordinary bike then?
And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.

That one the only thing that makes it special is the autograph across the tank which is as per spec of the 200 built in 87-88 as that's when Marco lucchinelli was caught up in his drug scandal...those 200 were nick-named the "Lucky Replica";apart from that they're the heavy slugs of the bunch

On the NZ Ducati forum someone in NZ is selling the bike Jason Statham rode in the expendables movie. I'm unsure of the exact model but the $85k asking price is OK everyone tells me when I was WTF!

But then I have no idea what genuinely is collectible in the current market. 105.7th HD Anniversary special anyone? Steve McQueen Bonneville (repainted standard bike ..... nothing special). Anniversary GSXR1000 (few years back - again nothing special other than colour and some badges and the GSXR was not even top dog then).

    Should have kept my CB200, Z440, Z750 .........

Statham rode a desmocedici in the expendables movie. Only one I've ever seen with a back seat.

Special, special edition then. Value? Hmm all relative I suppose - I rather have a $85k Ducati than a $85k OCC Chopper

What makes it worse is it's not 100% original either
Or a prospective bidder could get a 900ss for 1/6th the money and actually ride the thing.

Though it'd a pretty sweet ride if you lived somewhere with some nice tight roads to play on

Does it have the rear seat? I'm not sure it was actually functional, I noticed it in one of the three scenes you sre the bike, but the chick on the back is still sitting forward and off it. I guessed that meant they hadn't changed the exhaust at all.

Don prefers to ride the Euro Models

That TIME cover didnt really need to be butchered that way. It was a very very subtle but effective commentary on him as president already, before the "fuckwit of the year" graffiti.

I'll see if I can find the link. I do realise Kiwibiker doesnt really do subtle.
