Oldest son is considering a race bike. He's been checking out trademe. There sure are some dreamers on there.
Here's one.

And I to my motorcycle parked like the soul of the junkyard. Restored, a bicycle fleshed with power, and tore off. Up Highway 106 continually drunk on the wind in my mouth. Wringing the handlebar for speed, wild to be wreckage forever.
- James Dickey, Cherrylog Road.
...It's been the start to race bike for a lot of champs the old RGV150...a lot of learn in that there 2000 bucks and an education in 2t's...
There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop

...maybe it is too...but then again every bloody thing we want always costs more than we hope...we just picked up a fairly good FXR for racing...it cost 500 bucks more as soon as it was in our possession and that could only be the start if we wanted to keep up with the ones that have had 1500 thrown at them and they don't always catch the faster ones that have more TIME and money thrown at them...![]()
Um so what class was he intending to race? The RGV 150 is not the same as the RG150 which is water cooled and much better. But do they still even run the 150 class?
Buy a bucket and get much more track time. Did OK for Jay and Sketchy and well heaps of others.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
