    Its a hell of a thing though: the difference between riding a 675 and racing one. Its a 240kph, 100 hp motorbike. Not a particularly forgiving learner race bike.

    Yeah the RGV150 was dreadful and they usually break pistons which is odd. The RG is a totally different bike.

    What on earth are you on about Pete? My multichampionship 50 I sold for 2&1\2 thou, a set of 2nd hand slicks lasts at least a year, and there's a cheap local event every month.

    ...as soon as I had posted I realised the V part was not part of the deal... the rest of the meanderings were pretty close though...if you have a set budget to race a bike, double it before you even start and start saving even harder...forever...
