I had a punt, but I've purchased something else now so I'm over it. & if instincts serve me the reserve is around 17k.

Aww but it's got one of those shitty snoozookie engines hasn't it? Surely no one likes those?
Don't you look at my accountant.

If memory serves these have to have the engine removed as and when you want to change the chain and sprockets owing to the frame design. Seems a bit excessive to me...
Yeah, sure, why not pay more than an unmolested one in good nick would cost you, and then have the pleasure of putting it together as well....

It's still an obsolete trail bike. Not a competition bike. It will severely devalue if it is used, and there is no other reason for having it. A 400 for same price will be superior in every way

love my sb3, it is such a work of art from within the period it was made, of course later on the japs caught up so they weren't head and shoulders above the donor bike the engine came out of in terms of finish.
The first owner of my bike had this and a 1939 chev as his two forms of transport, this was a bit fierce so they fitted gsx1100 carbs to it, suzuki nz had 23 spare sets at their warehouse at the time...
This looks new.
But it was still just a GS550 with a pointy tank and odd seat.

One of the very first motorcycle magazines I bought with my own money has a Bimota KB2 on the cover. Its an early 1981 or 1982 Cycle World.
Still gives me the horn. I'd buy one.
