Depends on how many HD logos are on your riding gear. It's directly proportional to the wank factor.

Hard to see me parting ways with my Triumph leather jacket. I never thought I would own a brown leather jacket, let alone one that looks like a Belstaff Trialmaster, but honestly it is the best jacket I have ever owned. I have a bunch of others but this is the one I automatically reach for.

A lot of the HD branded jackets I have seen have been very average leather, and some have no armour whatever in them. Yours for like $900. Yeah nah.

See that shows a impedance and style that is sadly missing from the over 50's HD crowd. Wear that jacket on the HD.

    I'd own a HD - after I'd modified it.

I really like my ( BLACK) Triumph jacket looks like its straight out of " The Mild One"

My second fave is a Ducati jacket which is fun to ride on the Vespa with, I don't think Vespa do a leather jacket???

You can keep your wanky Steve McQueen ( would not been seen dead in) brown Balstaffs , have you got a David

    Beckham poster in your shed?

    Harleys...meh not worth the tassle.

Download a protractor angle app onto you phone and place it on the forks. 27deg is super lazy and will make a bike a bit ponderous. some dirt biased stuff get away with it). Aim towards 23ish. [Googles StreetBlob picture] Oh. Right.

Even if I wanted one of those (I dont) I am trying to get away from sky high seat heights for a road bike. I am keeping my Street Triple R.

The current shortlist is : Street Bob, Harley Sportster 72 (if I can find one) Triumph Street Twin, Triumph T120, maybe a Kawasaki Z900RS if they look OK in the flesh not just in pictures.

No ADV bikes, no sportsbikes, no hyper fast nakeds (workmate has just bought a Ducati Monser 1200R which I will get to ride in due course)

Main prob with the 72, is tiny fuel tank (and they look like poos with a bigger tank fitted), and shit suspension front and rear. New Street Bob (now it's a softail) would be a way better bet.

I rode one of Rolling Thunder's '72s ... in 1972 it would have been my dream bike

It put me off Harley's permenantly. (Maybe I'll look at something else at some time in the future - but right now any plans I might have had for a Harley have gone .. )

Yeah - the shit suspension was part of the issue ... a sweeping right corner at 100 klicks chucked the Harley all over the road - my big Bandit on the same corner took it at 135 klicks without moving ...

Yep. Tiny amount of travel, that's not well dampened either. Def only for pottering around on. Even then, no good for a bigger person.
