I know someone who bought one of them in the 80's and it failed. they are STILL bitter about it. And the lack of factory/distributor/retailer support. They've never bought another european bike, let alone a Guzzi.

    Welcome back by the way!

Yeah Trudie bought one new, the 650 4v, and we though oooh, exotic. But no. As it turned out. Had issues.

Saw that on Facebook I think. Not running right it's probably a grand high. Maybe more.

I didn't think my much tidier TR5 powered one with 7R rear hub & alloys was worth that much.

Other than Iconic models demand for kick start British bikes must be waning.

They fall into " thats nice but no so nice I'd want one"

I do prefer these days press and go to kick and swear.

tanks four inches to short forcing the seat far to far forward rear of tank must always extend to the same length as the footpeg . (cafe law 1)
The pegs themselves look to far forward as well. Pegs generally fall in the middle of the subframe triangle (Cafe law number 2)

Real cafe racers based on featherbed frames used the swingarm pivot to mount the footpegs.
So the footpegs were basically an extension of the pivot.

Tanks exactly where Moto Guzzi put them (V7 tank on a tonti frame) The price looks well out of position though.

That doesn't seem over the top for a Rickman Mettise ..

I like the look .. needs a little bit of a finish off - footpeg position etc.

The price - NZ$34,747 - is just way over the top for this .. way past dreamer land ..
