Did quite a few miles on my Katana. Was quite stretched out but I'd do Wellington to Dorkland no problem. Thought it was supposed to be Racey.
Don't you look at my accountant.

I suppose I was 19. .

I am a hobbit though and my short arms and pot tummy mean that I am basically lying on my ballsack with my arms straight out in front of me with my elbows hyperextended looking through the screen with my jacket scratching the SHIT out of the tank. I had gone in to trade either my GSX750 or one of my CB750's in on a cast wheel Katana. Soon as I sat on it I'm like "Love it but nope". Fairly sure I ended up with my GPz750 (ZX750A3) after that. If I had gone through with the sex change then it would have been fine. my new tits would have provided a cushion, and no ballbag to sit on......
I dont have the issue so much on say a Daytona 675 or modern bike because they are shorter in the wheelbase and the tanks are shorter because they want the rider forward.
I thought elections were decided by angry posts on social media. - F5 Dave
I fancy the Thruxton R, but then saw the BMW racer in the shop with spoked wheels
Read a review and the BMW unusually got all the attention but as you mentioned was not that nice to ride.
Budget front end too...and odd mirror location.
Wrong side of 50 and decrepidt to ride them now, my 900 Superlight takes about an hour to get over the lower back/hip pain , but I like to
look at it in the shed.
DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
I find my instant coffee racer very comfortable but like the italians I've got short legs long arms and no gut. My Daytona's all day comfortable but other describe them as torture racks.
My knees tuck in behind the heads and are kept nice and warm in winter
I rode mine on gravel roads and all. Thought it was fine. Until I rode something better. Then my RZ was the best low speed handler. But everything flexed. There's a corner on the Rimas that I go through and regularly remember the Kat flexing there.
The NF4 at least didn't flex. Just crude suspension.
I'm a grumbling old barstard to please.
But Si's R1M 1000 had to be pretty impressive for a big bike. Could have turned quicker. And been lighter.
Wish I'd ridden J-Los TZ250 like he offered often. Think I would have been happy then.
My 500 RG/RZ/RGV shows promise. Tiny. Right weight . 100hp. suspension works. Haven't pushed it.

Luckily I've got a mate with a couple Katanas. I'm gonna have to have a go on one methinks.
Ok Steve, put the race bike together cunt.
