$8.5k would be realistic for a tidy one
But a shame this one doesn't know how spending time & effort to get it looking great should include basic cleaning & maintenance and getting rid of simple over spray off auxiliary parts

Great to see one still alive, but the S was a huge leap forwards.

True... but it is an imported one though
love the corrosion around the top triple clamp etc, broken brake lever, & the chain doesn't look like it's ever been cleaned (and that the adjusters are wound in fully he's probably just whacked a link or two out to save getting a new one).

I have had mine for 30 years, can't say I ride it a lot but its a great bike to ride, all those bits whizzing around and the sound from the exhausts.

Sure a Super Sport is more Iconic but who wants 50K + tied up in a bike you hardly use.

This one sold recently for 20K, the wheels probably cost $3500.00....

Its got a later seat. I've put a later one on mine as the original is fecking uncomfortable.

DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.
