That's interesting 'cause when I asked for a price for mine as a trade it was just a 2009 Speed Triple. No allowance for the extra money it cost as a special edition when new. (Not that I paid that anyway but...)

Mate I'm sure you are one of the honest ones.
The last dealer I traded with was a Honda dealer in Manakau City. I made an offer on a bike (Honda RS125), he came back with 'the seller wants $500 more' which I agreed to. I found out later from the seller (who is a current KB member) the dealer told him he had to cut his asking price by $500 which he agreed to. Instant extra $1000 for telling a couple of fibs.
