maybe we should direct sellers here with their bikes first, to get a more realistic market price. aside from the odd ignorant naysayer, seems like a few on here are actually pretty clued up on things.
Ive actually got one im thinking of getting rid of, still on the fence, but dunno what its worth!
Well clearly Axhell will pay $5 And a bag of chips, so that' a good reserve price and the sky's your limit.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
As risky as it seems, putting it out with $1.00 res will normally fetch around current market value. I've only once been raped badly doing so, and that was only because no one was obviously after a YZ465 right then. That, and the two cunts I did know that would've liked it, were too fucking pussy whipped to bid on it.
My issue with $1 reserve on bikes is that, often I see the auction and dont have enough time to sort out the cash on such short notice. My concern is that Il miss out on better money from others in the same situation as me - I dont routinely have several thousand dollars in disposable cash in a place that is particularly fast to access (protecting me from my own impulses).
the bike in question is a '04 cbr600rr, about 34k on it. reg on hold till next month. Im sure it will fly through a WOF. Isnt rough, but not mint either.
Has a full exhaust system on it, an HRC ecu, aftermarket adjustable pegs, longer bars and some other bits like wavy rotors etc.
Has spares, including all the stock stuff, full exhaust, rotors, pegs, bars, ecu and a bunch of other bits, and about 3 sets pf spare fairings (one fibreglass race set almost complete, another road set modified for track duty, and another road set thats been sanded back) tyres less than 1000k on them.
fucked if I know what its worth?
First get the WOF.
Every sale I see that says "Will fly through WOF but no time" I wonder would the seller sign a binding contract about that. It looks to much like the infamous "Only needs a tune".
The best way to forget all your troubles is to wear tight underpants.
Pit it back to stock put say 5k on it and accept anything a jump above 4, then sell off bit separately. Else people will think it' spent most of its life on the track. Unless it actually has, then sell it as a track bike and sell the stock stuff separately.
I'm guessing at price, Pete should know better.

Actually this seems quite reasonable
