He has had several of that model, so I doubt it is as unused as he states. Especially with stories about disconnecting the speedo for the film set.

Difficult to take him seriously. He should get someone more mature to help him out.

I have heard of an mc22 being put up for sale for 6000 bucks with 3 owners. Looks brand new. I don't think this is optimistic. Do you?

$11.5k in 95 wasn't to bad then by that figure then didn't have issues with parts back then either as it was sharing lots of bits with Phil Payne's RV1 Alchemy

    ouch.
pre-lams era they would often be listed for around that (6k) ut would most oftn change hands for more like 4k, or 4.5k for a mint one - though most agreed the prices on them were silly.

The post LAMS era has hammered them down to a more reasonable bracket. cosmetically rough ones start from 1500-2k now. theyre a fun bike, but when you look at what lams rides you can get for 4k, the 250 cbr/zxr/gsxr/fzr etc just dont really appeal anymore.

    Yup.

True. I have seen a lot of bike for the money for 4000 bucks. As long as you are comfortable with high kilometres then 250's don't have heaps going for them.

On the basis that it's worth what somebody will pay for it. It has proved to be worth double what you thought.
