Iv'e got a couple of Jawa's..they're quirky things an amusing sort of way and they do go well as long as you don't mind being in too much of a hurry (like most old bikes). Appreciating slowly (again, like most old bikes)....but this character has to be dreaming![]()
A mate had a couple of those I helped him move but about 10yrs ago he took them to the tip rather than have people show up to his lockup. Bloody heavy. As we were moving them I offered that it was a communist plot to sink our country by exporting pig iron in the form of motorcycles.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Theres a difference between buying old shit & buying old shit that is valuable.
I always make sure the classic bikes I buy are the tidiest examples avaliable & have an established value at absolute least in the USA & UK so the values are not affected by a local recession.
Yes. I used to have a small collection of old BSAs and Triumphs - from 1936 to 1963 ... so I have bought and sold quite a few classics in my time.
That Jawa in immaculate condition may possibly be worth $5,000 .. but that's nowhere near immaculate
Here's a more modern one (and a 350) in much better condition - no idea what the reserve might be, but I'll bet it's less than $5,000.

"So if you meet me, have some sympathy, have some courtesy, have some taste ..."
Mira files article by John Nutting grouped all those eastern block bikes as miserable. A cynical attempt to try pay back some debt, they were cheap but horrible. If it were a Bridgestone I'd be finding the money some how, any how.

This guy must be dreaming. Also, listed as a dual purpose bike. Something tells me he doesn't want to sell.

Well if it can keep up with cruisers it must be good.
Next line perhaps?
Able to slaughter most scooters in a straight line.

Since when is an mt01 a hyper motard?
"For a moment, nothing happened. Then, after a second or so, nothing continued to happen" Douglas Adams (1952-2001) - not riding a TUONO then!
He's asking 3k more than it's worth. Plus he's really fucked with it. It would cost a fortune to fix.
If a man is alone in the woods and there isn't a woke Hollywood around to call him racist, is he still white?
I like his car coby mufflers. I don't remember what I got when I sold my MT01. Don't think it was 12.5 though. It had 9000 kms and was a 2008.
I have evolved as a KB member. Now nothing I say should be taken seriously.
We just sold a nice one for 9k
