That's not my one. But I'm quietly chuffed at my ability to predict the next big thing.
I'm all about the "investment bikes"
If someone wants one for that kind of money just PM me, I'll get myself another out of Japan for half that.
Here ya go, save yourself a buck, there's dozens of them on there

You should buy a Honda City and sell it as a "collectors pair"

Another similar Japanese 2 stroke. Bit dearer though.

DeMyer's Laws - an argument that consists primarily of rambling quotes isn't worth bothering with.

As new repaired insurance write off with 13000kms for $12000? Mate ya dreaming!
You can buy a near new GSXR 750 with under 2000kms for $11000......

They usually don't de-register cosmetic write offs, so I call bull shit on his factory plastics story especially as low speed slides dont cause enough damage to cosmetically write off a bike.
Also he "brought" the bike...

Good point. But what is one of those GSXR750s new? 18k?
So to reach the 2/3rd write off stage it would need 12kish damage. What's one side worth? Ie fairing, rear set engine case, clip on if it's not got crash knobs?
Plus the dereg bit makes me think it had more than cosmetic.

In theory, an insurance write off is when the cost of repairing outweighs what it's covered for. So either a set of OEM fairings for a Gixxer 750 are worth over $15,000 or the damage was actually more intensive but new, shiny plastics have been put on to cover it all up.
Or, alternatively, it wasn't actually written off?
Unless shit is run differently across the ditch..
Or if it was maybe only covered for TPPD/F&T or a really low sum insured, or something dumb like that?
