    You're meant to silicone them, and there are no oil ways that go through the rocker cover sealing surface, or near it. Even a fairly fine smear will shit out the sides
    However, the orange silicon looks shit when not cleaned off.

    It looks amateurish at best. Definitely not summat you would want to see on a bike with a $7k asking price.
