Currently we are pretty lucky in NZ with motorcycle modifications. In theory it is illegal to eliminate the cat from your exhaust or run something that is louder than stock without a certificate - but no one appears to care come WOF time.
Heck my Termignoni slip-ons have a plate riveted to the back of them stating 'for competition use only'. The VTNZ chap thought they sounded good when he checked it for a WOF.![]()
Every couple years the Govt talks about testing emissions as part of a WOF (stick a sensor up the pipe) - they keep chickening out.
I HATE these Tyga bodykits, the original OEM shape looks so much better in my opinion.. BUT I do like that this is the first time I've seen someone relocate the exhaust to match the RC211-V

WELL, almost.. It should have been a 4 into 2 arrangement with one in the tail fairing and one side mounted but I'll let it pass
Not even that optimistic a sale either, I just wanted to share it with someone/s
Reckon that's about three grand heavy.
Horrid piles of shit.
When I went to AMPS for a custom map there was a non-stop racket from Harleys getting dyno'd for custom maps. Whether any of the riders actually used the added grunt is another matter.
Quality levers? Pazzo levers are rip offs, imitations of the real thing. CRG are the real deal.
There is a grey blur, and a green blur. I try to stay on the grey one. - Joey Dunlop
Yeah, NC30's and NC35's have started going for stupid money over here if you can find one for sale. I remember when they just used to be cheap (like, just a couple of grand), old, small bikes.. Now $6k is a cheap one
Or under a milk float? Actually not as much as they kinda got phased out in the early 90s but it's where my RZ apparently ended up losing its life.
Tyga NSR tart ups are. . . . Actually seriously cool. Have a look under their options. There's an NSR300 jobbie in CMM mag December ( I think) with Rothmans fag packet livery and it looks cool.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
There's no denying they make some nice stuff, but the RC211-V bodykits they do for these and the old CBR250R/RR's look so crappy.. I think it's the headlight shape and placement that does it and the shape of the rear cowl. They mould in this round bit which is where one of the exhausts were on the 211-V as just a bit of plastic and it looks shithouse IMHO haha. That's one of the reasons why I like the one I listed above, they've actually relocated the exhaust.. Headlights still look crappy though.
