Top 3 items done every year on a competition bike or more if you want to be competitive. All cheapish for a 2 stroke.
The bottom ones most race monkeys would consider imperative. Especially the stickers.
Don't you look at my accountant.
He's the only one I've got.
Stickers are know to add up to 5hp if placed in the correct position on the bike.
A lot of people make the mistake of placing them on the swingarm or front forks - this will not assist at all.
To be effective stickers must be placed on the lower fairing or belly-pan. Small ones are acceptable on the tail but this will reduce the hp-gain ratio by between 2 and 2.5%.
It is also acceptable to place your favorite tyre brand sticker on the front guard. You won't gain any hp with this sticker but you will find the front end will turn in slightly quicker.
Helmet stickers mainly assist in distracting other riders, thus having a consequential effect on keeping you ahead of them.
Indeed it is. There's a bloke who races over here, got a shed of modern Jap race bikes, and a pair of 996's.. And a MINT RC30.. Bastard! I did "race" one of his sons on the RC30 around our local circuit on my 996 but yeah, spent most of my time behind it to have a look and a listen (well, that's my excuse)
Meh - spend you money on a V4 Aprilia or Ducati
Honda are dicks. They have the V4 heritage to dive into and the Moto GP bikes but only produce one for a touring bike.
RSV-4 Factory? They're fun!
$4k for a fucked bike you can't even register until you deal with the very hard to deal with DMV
